This started out as kind of an exercise journal to help keep me accountable to "all of my followers out there" but that failed miserably since no one expected me to continue and I did not.  I have done a few things and am still about 210 pounds.  I have had my knee scoped and still have to have my navel (belly button) hernia repaired.  Other than those two things, I'm still in okay health.  And I want to keep it that way.

The purpose of this blog is going to change however because I got almost as bored writing "I ran today" as you were read that "I ran today".  Hopefully I will be more faithful in updating this with thing that do happen in my really boring life.

I'm still going to use the name Running with Rich but it now implies that all my followers are running "around" with Rich as in following along as I live my life while I share tidbits of my life.  Since I am a fairly private person these tidbits will more than likely be of a general nature.

This may also contain information about my lifelong quest in managing my health and weight.

So let's all tighten our shoelaces and gird our loins and let's get on with Running with Rich.
